- Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr thrashed Major League Soccer side Inter Miami 6-0 in the second match of the Riyadh Super Cup 2024.
- The highly anticipated match was expected to be a clash between familiar foes Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, but Ronaldo missed the game due to injury, while Messi was benched and only featured for the final few minutes.
- Talisca was the star player for Al Nassr in the absence of Ronaldo, as the Brazilian bagged a hat-trick. Aymeric Laporte, Otavio and Mohammed Maran also found the net for Al Nassr.
- Al Nassr will face Al Hilal in the title decider next week, while Inter Miami ended their run with two defeats in two matches. The MLS club lost 4-3 to Al Hilal in the opener of the three-team tournament.

The match could see Mitrovic, Neves, and Milinkovic-Savic go up against Talisca, Otavio and Laporte.

For Inter Miami, it’s their second defeat of the tournament after a 4-3 defeat to Al Hilal.

Fans at the Kingdom Arena have enjoyed watching their Riyadh-based club excel in this high-scoring match, though they would have also loved watching more of Messi, who came on only in the 83rd minute.
Pre-match news reports said Messi felt discomfort after the last game and was benched as a precaution.
